PROFILE/STATEMENT
With early beginnings in Fine Art, Chrissie Hogan mixed her first pallet of oil at the age of 10.
A culmination of different art forms and careers have created the basis of her art with a strong emphasis on colour and graphics.
The elements of design, fashion/textiles and colour are evident in different
series of Chrissie’s work which cover still life through to landscapes and pottery.
“The subjects become the tool for development in colour, composition and texture. Different themes continuously feed the desire for fresh and interesting subjects.”
Chrissie’s involvement in art continues with a strong move to introducing art with the everyday environment.
Art should be accessible to all with an ease that is commonly found in the retail market.
“It is always better to have an original, art is for everyone.”
